Quaranthing, the children’s book series inspired by son Nate, is a light-hearted part-poem, part-tale of how Nate, and other babies, might have perceived the new world they were born into during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The release of this book introduces a new term, “Quaranthing™”.
A ‘Quaranthing’ is something or someone who was doing everything in their power to survive and thrive whilst making sure everyone else around them did the same during the Covid-19 pandemic. Babies who were born during the pandemic and grew in it, like Nate – who inspired this book, are Quaranthings. Real heroes, the doctors, nurses, and essential workers during that time, are all Quaranthings. If you followed safety guidelines for yourself and others during that time, you are a Quaranthing.

The term Quaranthing took back the power from any negative connotation given to the word ‘quarantine’.
